Installing the devices and setting up the
system
The cage nuts (10) can be inserted into the back of the grid at the required height.
Secure the 19" devices on the rack by using the screws (8) and protective casings (9).
The total weight of the mounted 19" devices must not exceed 32 kg
(see technical data). Do not drill any additional holes or screw any
additional screws into the housing/rack frame to mount the devices
because this could lead to contact with dangerous voltages or
impair the stability of the rack.
After the 19" DJ standing rack has been assembled and the 19" rack
devices have been installed, check that all the screws are fitted tight.
Heavy 19" devices must always be mounted in the lower part of the
DJ standing rack to guarantee stability.
When selecting the set-up location, take the room layout into consideration (e.g.
location of the nearest mains socket). When selecting the set-up location, make sure
that the devices will not not exposed to direct sunlight, vibration, dust, heat, cold and
moisture. Keep the device away from powerful transformers or motors.
The 19" DJ standing rack must only be placed on a flat, stable sur-
face. Otherwise, the device could fall over causing injury to persons
or damage to the devices.
Secure the rack to prevent if from rolling away accidently by engag-
ing the brakes on the castors.
Under no circumstances should the air intake holes and the ventila-
tion opening on the rear side of the devices be covered up.
Do not place the loudspeakers in the direct vicinity of screens such as
television sets or computer monitors. There is the risk that the mag-
netic fields generated by the loudspeakers could distort the picture.
When setting up the speakers, make sure that they have a stable
footing and that the surface they rest on is stable.
If you install the loudspeakers at an elevated position or stack loud-

speakers on top of one another, the loudspeakers must be secured

with appropriate securing devices. In doing so, ensure that the fas-

tening material and the anchoring area are appropriately sized for

this load. Serious injury to persons can be caused if the loudspeak-

ers fall down.

The loudspeakers may therefore only be secured by experienced

It is not permitted to suspend the loudspeakers from the carrier
handles.
