Connecting the ethernet cable (optional)
This connection is only required for wired network connections (LAN).
If you wish to use the integrated WLAN adapter in order to operate Sinus 154 media in a wireless network,
the ethernet port can remain free.
Switching on the devices
If necessary, boot the PC and start the media server software: in order to operate Sinus 154 media there
must be a network connection to a PC on which the media server software is installed and started.
Switch on your television and select a TV channel that is suitable for presenting audio and video signals.
Adjust the volume if necessary.
Switch on Sinus 154 media by pressing the switch on the device.
Wait until the Sinus 154 media TV menu is shown on the television.
Sinus 154 media is now ready for use. The blue power LED is illuminated.
When you switch on Sinus 154 media for the first time the network connection is still not individually config-
ured. You are therefore prompted first in a message to check the network settings.
Operating the TV menu
Sinus 154 media is operated via a menu that is shown on your television screen. You operate this TV menu
exclusively by means of infrared remote control. Select all menu entries and submenus by pressing the naviga-
tion keys repeatedly until the menu entry you require is highlighted. Open submenus by confirming your selec-
tion with [OK]. Use [ZURÜCK] to return to the previous menu.
To enter text or numbers, e.g. when setting up the network, you should also use the navigation keys and select
the individual numbers one after another from a list of numbers.
