The installation height depends on the object that is to be sur-
veilled. Before the final installation, it is recommended to connect
the camera to the corresponding monitor / TV set and to verify if
the picture of the area to be surveilled is properly reproduced .
This avoids wrong installation.
Always observe the operating instructions of the mounting base
to be used with the camera.

8. Connection and Operation

When the objective is not attached, always leave the protective
cover for the objective on the camera.
• Connect the "VIDEO OUT" (4) connection to the analogue video input of your dis-
play unit.
• Remove the cover lid from the front of the camera.
• If required, attach a suitable adapter ring to the camera.
• Carefully screw the objective to the camera or the adapter ding.
• Plug the "control socket connection plug" (10) into the "control socket" (9).
• Remove the cover lid from the front of the objective.
After removing the objective cover lid, do not touch the objec-
tive. This may negatively influence image quality.
• Select the required control signal with the "control signal selection switch" (2).
(See chapter "9. Set Control Signal")
• Connect the safety plug to a standard household mains socket (230V/AC 50 Hz).
Then the red status LED "POWER" (5) lights up.
• Switch on your display device.
• Select the respective channel at your display device for getting a display.
• Loosen the "Focal width adjustment fixating screw" (7).
