M = the automatic channel switching is deactivated, L = automatic channel switching is
activated (L stands for "LOOP").

8. Driver Installation

Connect the receiver's USB connector to a free USB port on your PC or laptop.
New hardware is recognised. The hardware installation assistant starts automatically.
Place the CD included in the delivery into the corresponding CD drive of your computer.
Follow the instructions on the screen until the installation is completed successfully.
Tip for Windows VISTA installation:
Please note that if the device is installed under the "Vista" operating system, the driver
may not be recognised by it and therefore, an automatic installation might not be possible.
If this problem arises, please install the driver manually using the directory on the CD:
D:\driver\vista\vista32bit or D:\driver\vista\vista64bit, depending on the operating system
that is installed on your PC. "D:" indicates the letter for the corresponding CD-ROM drive.
Afterwards, follow the instructions on the screen.
Should there not be a picture after starting the «INTERVIDEO WinDVR" program, please
check the display settings. The latter can be selected via the "Display", "Display settings"
window. The "activate overlay" checkbox under the "display" tab must not be ticked.
The following indications are displayed under the "Device" tab:
Device: TridVid Capture; Source: FBAS; Standard: PAL_D.
An image of the adjusted camera should be visible. If that is not the case, a hardware test
via the A/V output must be performed on the receiver. For this purpose, consult the ope-
rating manual, point 6: "Start up" and "Operation". If you have any questions regarding
the WinDVR" software, please observe the operating instructions on the CD-ROM.
