To avoid damage to the machine

or starting problems arising from
moisture, let the engine run for a
few minutes before switching it off
(to dry out).
Set throttle lever (7) to "
•
Ignition key (1)

– pull it out.
Set shut-off valve (10), if present,

to "OFF".
Put in gear

Caution
Release coupling levers (1 and 2)
before you select a gear or change
gear.
Select a gear with the shift lever

(6):
– Forwards: "1" (slow) up to "5"/"6"
(fast)
– Reverse: "R" (slow) and "R
(fast).
Eliminate any blockages in
the worm or the throw-out
chute
