f) Setting the alarm time
• Pr
ess the button "MODE" (D) so often until "ALM"
(Alarm) appears briefly in the lowest line of the display;
the current alarm time appears.
• Press the button "SET" (G) for longer than 2 seconds until
the alarm time flashes. Release the button again.
• Using the buttons located on the rear of the multi-com-
pass "HR" (I) and "MIN" (N), the desired time can be set.
If the button is held down for a longer period, the quick
adjustment is activated.
• Press the button "MODE" (D) to return to the normal dis-
play; the alarm time set is stored automatically.
g) Switching alarm on/off
Us
ing the rotary switch "J" on the rear of the multi-com-
pass, the desired feature can be set:
• position "ALARM OFF"
The alarm feature is switched off.
• position "ALARM ON"
The alarm feature is switched on; a small alarm symbol
appears in the display. The alarm is triggered at the time
set and can be activated using the button "SNOOZE" (C)
until the next day.
• position "SNOOZE" (slumber feature)
The alarm feature is switched on, in the display, the sym-
bol "Z z". appears in addition to the small alarm symbol.

Using the button "SNOOZE" (C), the alarm ins interrupted
for about 5 minutes and then triggered again. The symbol
"Z z" flashes.
Press the button "SNOOZE" (C) again; the alarm is inter-
rupted again for 5 minutes and then triggered again. The
symbol "Z z" flashes.
By pressing the button "SNOOZE" (C) again, the alarm is
deactivated again until the next day.
h) Height alarm/height /set measuring rate
A
pressure gauge is installed in the multi-compass which
measures the air pressure. This is used for the momentary
height.
The display of the height on the display therefore
deviates from the actual height as changes
depending on the weather situation.
It is possible, however, to enter a reference value (known
height of a certain place at which you are located, e.g. the
starting point of a wandering). This value is then used in the
calculation of height changes or for the height alarm (alter-
ertain value).

or example: a height alarm could be triggered
when, during a wandering at a height of "400m"
you have reached a height of "600m" (in the
multi-compass, the height change "+200m" has
to be programmed).
