altimeter and the barometer mode is exited automati-
cally after 24 hours. The measured values (display in the
pixel display under the LC display), however, remain stored
nally.

t a change in the measuring rate ("RATE", time
difference at which a change in height or a
change in the air pressure is measured and
stored), the existing measured values are deleted.
Proceed for programming as follows:
• Press the button "MODE" (D) so often until "ALTI"
("Altimeter", height meter) appears briefly in the lowest
line of the display. The current height is then displayed.
• Using the button "SET" (G), the display units can be
changed (M = Meter, FT = Feet).
• Press the button "SET" (G) for longer than 2 seconds.
"ALM" is displayed in the lowest line of the display;
release the button again. Now you can set the change in
height (e.g. +100 m) at which the alarm is to be trig-
gered.
• Using the buttons "+" (I) and 2-" (N), the desired value
for the height alarm can be set on the rear of the multi-
compass (value flashes). If the button is held down for a
longer period, the quick adjustment is activated.
To switch off the height alarm, press the two buttons "+"
and "-" at the same time until "OFF" is faded in.

Using the buttons "+" (I) and "-" (N) on the rear of the
multi-compass, the desired world time can be set (inde-
pendent of the "normal" time).
• Press the button "SET" (G) briefly to display daylight sav-
ing; in the display, the message "DST" ("Daylight Saving
Time") will appear.
For the universal time "UTC", this is not pos-
sib
le.
• Press the button "SET" (G) for longer than 2 seconds until
the world time display begins to flash. Release the button
again.
• Using the buttons "HR" (I) and "MIN" (N) on the rear of
the multi-compass, the desired world time can be set .
The world time can be set independent of the "normal"
time. If the button is pressed for a longer period, the
quick adjustment is activated.
• Press the button "SET" (G) briefly. The world time begins
to flash (setting is possible independent of the "normal"
date).
• The world date can be set using the buttons located on
the rear of the multi-compass "MONTH" (I), "DATE" (N)
and "YEAR" (M).
• Press the button "MODE" (D) to return to the normal dis-
play; the date which you have set is stored automatically.
