• Press the button "SET" (G) briefly. "REF" is faded into
the lowest line of the display. This stands for "refer-
ence value", i.e. a certain, known height of the place
at which you are located e.g. the starting point of a
wandering (height for example. in a map).
This increases the exactitude of the subsequent
height display. Please note that air pressure
changes in the course of the day have an influ-
ence on the display of the altimeter!
• Set the reference value using the buttons "+" (I) and "-"
(N) on the rear of the multi-compass. If the button is held
down for a longer period, the quick adjustment is activat-
ed.
At the current height (e.g. 350m), the reference value
"OFF" is displayed.
• Press the button "SET" (G) briefly. "RATE" is displayed in
the lowest line of the display. This concerns the time dif-
ference in which a height change is stored by the multi-
compass (pixel diagram for height change bottom of dis-
play). 5, 15, 30 and 60 minutes can be set.
• Using the keys "+" (I) and "-" (N), the desired value can
be set on the rear of the multi-compass (value flashes). If
the button is held down for a longer period, the quick
adjustment is activated.
• By pressing the button "SET" (G) briefly, the order of
adjustment starts from the beginning again (height alarm
> reference value > height storage). Press the button
"MODE" (D) to return to the key again.
