i) Select °C/°F display
•
Press the button "MODE" (D) so often until "TIME"
appears briefly in the lowest line of the display.
• To select the temperature for the display, press the but-
ton "°C/°F" (L) briefly.
j) Calibrate compass
• Press the button "MODE" (D) so often until "COMP"
("Compass") appears briefly in the lowest line of the dis-
play.
• Position the multi-compass on a straight line. At the left
and right, alongside the display, there is an indentation
for this.
• Position the multi-compass in such a manner that it lies
horizontally (the air bubble with the mini sprit level has to
lie exactly in middle of the circle).
No metal objects or electrical appliances may be
in the vicinity. These can have a strong influence
on the measurement which in turn will lead to an
imprecise display.
• Press the button "SET" (G) for longer than 2 seconds.
"CAL" flashes In the lowest line of the display "CAL".
Release the button again.
• By pressing the key "CALIBRATION" (C) briefly, the cali-
bration process begins. "1st" flashes in the display.
• Rotate the multi-compass by 180° (position it again
exactly on the horizontal line). Press the button "CALI-
BRATION" (C) again briefly. Calibration is then competed.

b) Setting time
•
Press the button "MODE" (D) so often until "TIME"
appears briefly in the lowest line of the display. The cur-
rent time and temperature are faded in.
• Press the button "SET" (G) for longer than 2 seconds until
the time display begins to flash. Release the button
again.
• Using the buttons "HR" (I) and "MIN" (N) on the rear of
the multi-compass, set the desired time (12-hour mode,
in the afternoon, "PM" is faded in). If the button is
pressed for a longer period, the quick adjustment is acti-
vated.
• Press the button "MODE" (D) to return to the normal dis-
play, the time set is stored automatically
