10. Handling
•
Protect the product against dampness, wetness, cold,
heat, dust and direct sunlight.
• Never take the product apart. Have any necessary repairs
carried out exclusively by an appropriate specialist work-
shop
• The product will be damaged if it falls even from a low
height.
11. Servicing and cleaning
•
The multi-compass is service-free apart from the occa-
sional replacement of batteries; never take it apart.
• Clean the multi-compass with a soft, clean, dry cloth free
of fuzz. To remove heavy contamination, the cloth can be
dampened with lukewarm water (make sure that no
water can seep into the openings of the buttons).
Do not use cleaning agents, otherwise the plastic hous-
ing, the display and the labelling can be attacked.

amage caused by non-compliance with this
operating manual will mean that the warran-
ty lapses! We accept no liability for subse-
quent damage!
We accept no liability for damage to items or
injury to persons caused by improper han-
dling or non-compliance with the safety
instructions! The warranty shall lapse in
such cases.
a) General
• F
or safety and licensing reasons (CE), you are not permit-
ted to convert and/or alter the product yourself.
• The apparatus may not be exposed to direct or intensive
sunlight, extreme temperatures, strong vibration, damp-
ness, wetness or strong mechanical stress.
• The product has no place in the hands of children.
• The apparatus may only be operated if the situation
allows and if you are not distracted from what is going on
around you by operating it. This could be the case, for
example, when operating it in traffic.
• The manufacturer or supplier accept no responsibility
whatsoever for incorrect displays or the consequences
which can arise from such incorrect displays.
