Measurement (automatic mode)

Please observe the instructions on page 23.
NOTE:
The blood flow of the skin has an effect on the measurement
result. As a result, your physical condition on the day, sport-
ing activities or extreme ambient temperatures can result in
different measurement results.
1st measurement on the forehead
– Hold the sensor to your forehead and wait for the acoustic signal.
– Please pay attention to the announcements in the Voice Guide.
2. Measurement on the body
– Place the sensor on the lightest place on the body, for example on the
inside of your forearm. Wait for the acoustic signal.
– Please pay attention to the announcements in the Voice Guide.
4.9.1

Time controller in automatic mode

If the appliance is operated with a time controller (e.g. coin device operation),
the minimum (minimum exposure) and maximum (maximum exposure) tan-
ning times are set to the same times as the tanning times in automatic mode
(15 to 30 minutes, default value 20 minutes) – see 'Default values/Presettings'
(order no.1008953-..).
With coin device operation or control systems (Studio Pilot/Studio Manager),
the minimum tanning time is the product of the 'minimum exposure' and the
'time for money'.
Formula:
Minimum tanning time = minimum exposure × time for money

Beauty Light lamps or Beauty Light lamps + UV lamps
Facial cooling
Body cooling
Audio system
Voice Guide
Climatronic (not active for PURE BEAUTY)
