Make sure all parts are firmly mounted before switching on the laser
drill machine.
Make sure all wrenches or adjusting tools are removed from the laser
drill machine before starting the machine.
Do not switch on the laser drill machine if the drill bit touches the
workpiece.
When operating the laser drill machine, always wear
protection goggles. Wear suitable clothes. Take off jewellery
and tie long hair.
Protect your ears. Wear ear protectors.
Do not wear gloves when inserting or replacing drill bits.
When drilling wood please note that dusts can be harmful. Use a dust
mask or if possible, attach suitable dust collection.
Only use replacement parts recommended by Westfalia.
The laser drill machine is equipped with a laser. Do not replace the
laser with a different sized type. Repairs on the laser may only be
undertaken by the manufacturer of the laser or an authorised service.
Do not operate the laser drill machine if the machine does not work
correctly or has been damaged. Do not disassemble the machine and
do not try to repair it yourself. Contact your customer support.
Laser beams can injure your eyes. Do never look directly into the
beam. Do not look into the laser openings. Please note that a laser
beam on a reflecting
surfaces can be just
as
dangerous
looking directly into
the laser opening.
Switch off the machine immediately if any malfunction or defects
occurs. Do not disassemble the laser drill machine and do not try to
repair is yourself. Contact our customer support department in case of
problems.
