c) Timer Function
• Push the VOLUME/POWER (4) controller to switch the device on. The display STANDBY (2) goes out.
• In order to switch off the device after a defined time, push the button SLEEP (6) repeatedly until you have set the
desired time.
• The duration until deactivation is adjustable in 10-minute steps from 90 to 10 minutes. After the end of the pro-
grammed time, the device will switch to standby mode.
• The display (10) will return to the regular operating display after a short time, and the display SLEEP will appear
when the timer function is activated.
• If you want to deactivate the timer function before the programmed deactivation time, push the button SLEEP (6)
repeatedly until the indication SLEEP OFF appears in the display (10).
d) Radio Mode
Station search
• Push the FUNCTION (5) button repeatedly until radio operation is selected. The frequency indication appears in
the display (10).
• Push the / BAND (15) button to select the desired reception range (AM = amplitude modulation or FM = fre-
quency modulation).
• Push one of the (16) or
scanning direction. The auto-scan stops at the next station that can be received well.

Manual station storage
• Set the station to be saved as described above in "Station search".
• Push the MODE/CLOCK (8) button in order to save the station on a free slot.
• To save another station, repeat the process described for every station to be saved. You can save up to 30 FM
stations and 20 AM stations.
• In order to call a station that you have already saved, push the button ALBUM/PRESET DOWN (18) or
ALBUM/PRESET UP (19) repeatedly until you have chosen the desired station memory slot.
Automatic station storage
• Push the button T-SCAN/
• The reception range is searched and all stations that can be received well are saved in sequence in the station
memory, starting at CH01.
• This processing must be performed separately for the different bands (AM and FM).
• In order to call a station that you have already saved, push the button ALBUM/PRESET DOWN (18) or
ALBUM/PRESET UP (19) repeatedly until you have chosen the desired station memory slot.
