2.3. In series mode, terminals 17&18 should be connected together with a thick conductive wire to
prevent damage to the unit in the event of an overload.
2.4. In series mode, remove any connection between the master or slave negative terminals and
the ground connection terminals otherwise it is possible to short-circuit the slave output.
3. DUAL POWER SUPPY IN PARALLEL MODEL :
3.1. Press down 21 &22 (in position), dual output now in active parallel model, adjust 5, 6, 7
& 8, dual power voltage change identically, at the same time slave indicator 19 blinks.
3.2. In parallel, slave buttons are dormant, The maximum output current is the sum of the master
and slave output currents.
3.3. In parallel mode, terminals 15&18, 17&20 should be connected respectively with thick
conductive wire to prevent damage to the unit in the event of an overload.
4. Voltage and Current pre-set (lock-in) procedure:
4.1. Pre-set Master Current or Voltage: press 5 &8 buttons or 6 & 7 button.
3 seconds. Masters are now preset. To release preset lock-in values, press the same set of
buttons for 3 seconds.
Slave values preset or release are done in similar fashions.
When voltage/current are locked in, all adjustors become dormant or inactive. When power
supply unit are re-started, pre-set values are default values when turned on.
5. CAUTION:
In the event of a short circuit at the output the current will limit at the value set by the current controls,
however the unit should be turned off and the short circuit removed before continuing use.
The mains power must be switched off before servicing and servicing should be referred to a qualified
person.
The unit should be stored in a dry and well ventilated place and the power cord removed if storing for
long periods.
