5. Operation

5.1 Charging the Li battery pack (Fig. 3-4)
1. Remove the battery pack (3) from the equip-
ment, pressing the pushlock button (4) down-
wards to do so.
2. Check that your mains voltage is the same as
that marked on the rating plate of the battery
charger. Insert the power plug of the charger
(5) into the socket outlet. The green LED will
then begin to fl ash.
3. Push the battery pack onto the battery char-
ger.
In section 9 (Charger indicator) you will fi nd a
table with an explanation of the LED indicator on
the charger.
If the battery pack fails to charge, check for the
following:
voltage at the power socket
whether there is good contact at the charging
contacts of the charging unit
If the battery pack still fails to charge, send
the charger and charging adapter
and the battery pack
to our customer service center.
To ensure that the Li battery pack provides
long service you should take care to recharge
it promptly. You must recharge the battery pack
when you notice that the power of the cordless
equipment drops.
5.2 Switching on/off
To switch on the equipment, move the ON/OFF
switch to „I".
To switch off , move it to „0".
5.3 Adjusting the volume

5.4 Setting the time
1. To set the time, switch the radio off and then
press „Clock" (H) until the indicator fl ashes.
2. Now you can set the hours using the „Volume
-" (F) key and the minutes using the „Volume
+" (E) key.
3. Now press the „Clock" (H) key again to save
the settings.
5.5 Frequency selection

Seek > (C)
Seek < (D)
To seek a channel automatically, press the „Seek
>" (C) or „Seek < (D)" key until the channel scan
starts.
The channel scan then runs automatically until a
channel is found.
5.6 Programming the transmitter
1. To program the transmitter, switch the radio
on an then press the „Channel" (G) key.
2. The fi rst channel number „1" is displayed.
Now use the „Seek >" (C) or „Seek <" (D) key
to set the desired channel.
3. Then press the „Channel" (G) key until the
indicator fl ashes.
4. To fi nish programming, press the „Channel"
(G) key again.
5.7 Automatic transmitter programming
Press the „Band / AUX" (B) key until the channel
scan starts. The equipment then searches for the
next 10 channels and saves them automatically in
the memories in the equipment.
5.8 Frequency range and AUX function
Press the „Band / AUX" (B) key to change the
frequency ranges and switch to AUX mode. By
connecting your cell phone or tablet you can then
use the radio as a speaker.
If the AUX cable (Fig. 7 / Item 9) is connected to
the AUX socket (Fig. 7 / Item 8), the equipment
automatically switches to AUX mode. When the
cable is removed, the equipment switches back to
radio mode.
5.9 Battery capacity indicator (Fig. 5 /Item 7)
Press the battery capacity indicator switch (a).
The battery capacity indicator (7) shows the char-
ge status of the battery using 3 LEDs.
All 3 LEDs are lit:
The battery is fully charged.
