For the radio transmitter to work properly do not place any mains voltage or LED supply wires within a minimal distance of 10 mm
(0.4 inch).
The WDLC is a bidirectional converter with DALI Interface that features an LED Indicator and Reset Button. The LED Indicator is
OFF when the WDLC is not powered and ON when powered (see the WDLC LED Indicator details below). To reset factory default
settings, press and hold the Reset Button for a minimum of 10 seconds. This will remove the WDLC from the network. When reset is
successful, the LED will rapidly flash.
NOTE: Resetting to factory default settings will delete the DALI short address and require the device to be re-commissioned.
WDLC LED Indicator Lights
• Off: WDLC has no power.
• Steady On: WDLC is connected to a network (there will be a slight flicker of the LED indicating it is communicating).
• Slow Blink: WDLC is not connected to a network.
• Rapid Flashing: WDLC has been successfully reset.
When Using General Lighting
When the luminaire is powered, the luminaire turns ON and reaches its full output. The WDLC then cycles through the entire
dimming range starting from 100% output level to OFF* 2 times. This confirms that the module is receiving power and is able to
communicate the dimming signals to the power supply. The blinking of the LED module is also an indicator that the WDLC has not
been paired and that it is actively scanning for open networks. The end-of-line testing routine repeats at each power cycle and will
be performed the first 10 times the WDLC is powered up. Before commissioning, this routine can be used to determine if a device
has been paired to a network.
When Using Tunable White Lighting
When the luminaire is powered, the luminaire turns ON and reaches its full output. The WDLC then cycles through the entire
dimming range starting from 100% output level to OFF* two times. This confirms that the module is receiving power and is able
to communicate. If connected to a Tunable White Driver, following the blinking, the luminaire will cycle from one end of the color
temperature e.g. 6500K to the other end e.g. 2700K. The end-of-line testing routine repeats at each power cycle. This EOL test will
be performed the first 10 times the device is powered up.
