Limitations
• A maximum of only one Programmer may be connected
to the PC at any one time.
• Only one decoder may be connected to the Programmer
at any one time.
Connecting a Decoder with a 21-Pin Interface Connector
• Plug the decoder into the interface connector on the
adapter (see drawing on Page 18).
• Make sure that nothing is connected to the remaining
connections on the adapter.
Connecting a Decoder with a 8-Pin Interface Connector
• Connect the decoder with the 8-pin plug to the adapter
(see drawing on Page 18).
• Also, connect the blue wires (marked with yellow or
orange) to the corresponding set screw terminals on the
Adapter.
• Make sure that no other decoder is connected to the
21-Pin interface connector.
Connections for a Decoder without an Interface Connector
• Connect the 5 wires to the corresponding terminal clips
(see drawing on Page 18). Additional connections are not
required.
• Make sure that the 21-Pin interface connector and the
8-Pin interface connector remain unoccupied.
Disposal
Notes about protecting the environment: Products designa-
ted with a line through a trash can may not be disposed of
by means of normal household trash at the
end of their useful life. They must be turned
in at a collection point for the recycling of
electrical and electronic devices. The symbol
on the product, operating instructions, or the
packaging refers to this. The raw materials
can be recycled again depending on their
designation. You make an important contri-
bution to the protection of our environment
with the reuse of the recyclable materials or other forms
of recycling old devices. Please ask your local authorities
about appropriate disposal sites.
