Mounting and Connections Instructions Electronic Vibration Detector 1. General The detector is suitable for the monitoring of break-through of glass panes in windows or doors. It can be used with glass types which passive glass breakage sonsors are not able to monitor. For example structure glass, laminated glass, bulletproof glass and glass with wire ore plastics inlay.
Mounting and Connection Instructions Electronic Vibration Detector When installing on glass panes in compliance with VdS, the detector must be installed beyond arm’s reach on the first glass pane with the exception of windows that have blinds on the outside and where the closed and locked state is monitored. This does not apply to the second pane of glass on the inside.
Mounting and Conections Instructions Electronic Vibration Detector 5. Startup The detector is set when the housing is open using the potentiometer that is located in the middle of the PCB. The detector is set according to the maximum sensitivity (potentiometer position "stop left”, see label in housing cover).
