The product is not dimmable.
Observe the operating instructions!
Safety Instructions

tion.
D amages due to failure to follow these operating instructions will void the

will be void in such cases!
Caution!
T he product may be installed only by a qualified technician (electrician)
who is familiar with the relevant regulations (e.g., VDE, German electrical
wiring regulations)!
I mproper work carried out on the mains voltage endangers not only your
own life, but also the life of others!
I f you do not have the expertise required for the installation, do not install it
yourself but ask a qualified technician.
• Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not al-
lowed for safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The LED floodlight is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of chil-
dren! There is danger of a life-threatening electric shock! Install the LED
floodlight out of the reach of children.
• The LED floodlight may be operated only on the mains voltage (see section
"Technical Data"). Never try to operate the product at another voltage, as
this will cause its destruction.
• The LED floodlight is designed according to Protection Class I; the protec-
tive earth conductor must be connected.
If there is not a mains supply with a protective earth wire available at the
place of installation, the LED floodlight must not be connected/used there.
In this case, install a new mains supply with a protective earth conductor.
During installation, all poles must be disconnected from the mains voltage
(e.g., via RCD).
• The LED floodlight may be installed and operated indoors and outdoors.
However, never install it in water.
• The LED floodlight must not be operated via a dimmer.
• Do not mount or use the LED floodlight in rooms, or under adverse environ-
mental conditions, where combustible gases, vapours or dust are or may
be present! There is a risk of explosion!
• Only use the LED floodlight when it has been securely mounted. However,
never install the LED floodlight on or inside vehicles.
• Do not install or attach objects (e.g., decorative material) to the LED flood-
light.
• Never cover the LED floodlight. The surface becomes very hot. Not only is
there a risk of fire, but the LED floodlight may overheat, which will destroy
it.
• Caution, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into
the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• The LED floodlight must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong
vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• If there is any reason to believe that safe operation has become impos-
sible, put the LED floodlight out of operation and secure it against any
unintended operation. After this, arrange for an expert to check the LED
floodlight.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the LED floodlight shows visible signs of damage
- the LED floodlight does not work at all or works poorly (where there
is flickering light, leaking smoke or a burning smell, audible crackling
noises, or discolouration to the LED floodlight or to adjacent surfaces)
- the LED floodlight was stored under unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could
become a dangerous plaything for children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Em-
ployer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operat-
ing Facilities are to be observed!
• If you have any questions that are not answered in this manual, please
contact our technical department or another specialist.
Preparations for Installation
Please observe the chapter "Safety Instructions"!
• Only install the LED floodlight on a stable surface. Depending on the installation
surface, suitable screws and plugs must be used. The LED floodlight must only be
operated when it is mounted securely.
• The LED floodlight must be installed such that it is out of the reach of children.
• The LED floodlight must be protected on the sub-distribution board by a 10/16 A-
fuse. An earth fault circuit interrupter must be installed before this (FI protective
switch).
• The LED floodlight must be disconnected from the power supply during installation.
It is not sufficient to just turn off the light switch.
Turn the power off and ensure that none of the poles is live by removing the electric
circuit's fuse or switching off at the circuit breaker. Then, switch off the associated
earth fault circuit interrupter (breaker). Secure it against unauthorised reconnec-
tion, e.g., with a danger sign.
• Check that the mains cable is free of current, e.g., with an appropriate tester.
