Intended use
The product is intended for illuminating indoor and outdoor areas and for installation
to walls and ceilings. The LED floodlight has been designed according to IP65
requirements and can be installed and used both indoors and outdoors. The LED
floodlight features a mains cable and mains plug.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this
product. If you use the product for purposes other than those described above, the
product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short
circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them for
future reference. Make this product available to third parties only together with its
operating instructions.

Symbol explanation
The symbol with the flash in a triangle indicates a risk to your health,
e.g. from electric shock.
The symbol with an exclamation point indicates special risks
associated with handling, operation or use.
The "arrow" symbol indicates special remarks and notes for
operation.
A defective protective glass must be replaced immediately. If the
protective glass is defective, the product must not be used.
The product is not dimmable.
This symbol determines the minimum distance of 1 m to illuminated
1m
surfaces.
The product is dustproof and protected against temporary jets of
IP65
water.
This symbol reminds you to read the operating instructions
accompanying this product.
Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on
proper handling in these operating instructions, we assume no liability
for any resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will
invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may
become dangerous playing material for children.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of
operation and protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no
longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a
low height can damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices
which are connected to the product.
• The mains outlet must be located near to the product and be easily
accessible.
• Never pull the mains plug from the socket by pulling at the cable. Always
pull it from the mains socket using the intended grips.
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if you do not use the device
for an extended period of time.
• For safety reasons, always unplug the device in case of a thunderstorm.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp
edges or put under mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on
the mains cable from extreme heat or cold. Do not modify the mains cable.
Otherwise the mains cable may be damaged. A damaged mains cable can
cause a deadly electric shock.
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. First, power down the
respective mains socket (e.g. via the respective circuit breaker) and then
carefully pull the mains plug from the mains socket. Never use the product
if the mains cable is damaged.
• To prevent risks, damaged power cables may only be replaced by the
manufacturer, a professional workshop appointed by the manufacturer, or
a similarly qualified person.
• Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• Install the product out of the reach of children.
• Operate the product with mains voltage only (see chapter "Technical
data"). Never attempt to operate the product with other voltage, as this
might damage the product.
• The product features a protection class I design; the protective ground
wire must be connected.
• Caution, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into
the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• Do not use the product if the protective glass is damaged.
• The product has been designed according to IP65 protection class and
can be installed and used both indoors and outdoors. But do never install
or use the product under water.
• Choose the correct position when installing the product (see chapter
"Installation and connection") as otherwise there is a risk of lethal
electric shock!
• The product must not be operated via dimmer control.
• The product is not explosion-proof. Do not use the product in rooms that
contain or could contain inflammable gases, vapors or dusts. This poses
a risk of explosion!
• Never point (e.g. for cleaning purposes) water from a garden hose or high-
pressure cleaner etc. at the product!
• The product may be operated only when it is fixed in place. Do not install
the product in vehicles.
• Do not hang or attach any objects (e.g. decorations) on or to the product.
• Never cover the LED floodlight. Since the surface becomes very hot, there
is not only a risk of fire, but the LED floodlight could also overheat and
therefore get destroyed.
• For installations in industrial facilities, follow the accident prevention
regulations for electrical systems and equipment of the government
safety organization or the corresponding authority for your country.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of
