3 START-UP AND OPERATION

3.1

Calibration procedure

This operation is used to specify the measurement of the PICO DUO's pH and Rx sensors.
Before calibrating the probe, remember to :
•
Stop the filtration pump.
•
Close any existing isolation valves.
•
Remove electrode from probe holder.
•
Fit gasket "D" (fig. 1), then close with the cap to plug the hole
in the probe holder left free by the probe.
•
Open isolation valves if present.
•
Switch on the filter pump and check that the PICO DUO is
displaying a pH and ORP value. If it displays "OFF", press the
"ON/OFF" button to switch it on.
•
Calibrate the probe, then repeat the above steps to replace
the electrode.
