The Wallaby can be charged by a solar
cell of 14V-40V and a wattage of maximum
120W.
Connect the supplied solar charging cable
to the solar panel (Direct to the panel.
When panel has built in charging controller,
this should be passed as the Wallaby uses
its own built in MPPT charging controller).
Now connect the solar charging cable with
the Wallaby. The port is named PV.
Charging indication on the display will be
same as described under charging by
AC/DC adapter above.
Disconnect solar panel when Wallaby is
fully charged.
When display battery icon only shows
20% battery capacity (fig. 3a), charge the
Wallaby as soon as possible.
In the charging modes, the input current
is visible on the display under 'INPUT'.
ATTENTION:
NEVER CHARGE THE WALLABY WITH AC/DC OR CAR ADAPTER AND SOLAR PANEL AT THE SAME TIME !

Using the jump starter
The Wallaby can jump start a vehicle with an engine size of less then 4 litres.
Make sure the battery capacity of the Wallaby is at least 60%.
1) Clamp the red clamp to the vehicle's positive pole of the battery and the black clamp to the negative pole.
2) Plug the other end of the smart jump start cable into the output called 'CAR JUMP STARTER (4 in fig. 1)
3) Now start the engine of the vehicle as normal
4) After starting, take out the smart jump start cable out of the Wallaby and then remove the cable clamps from the
battery of the vehicle.
Important safety issues when using the jump start function:
• Make sure the clamps are tightly attached to the poles of the vehicle's battery
• Never connect the red and black clamps with each other, otherwise this can cause injuries
• Remove the cable within 30 seconds after starting the vehicle, otherwise it can cause damage to the Wallaby or
even can cause injuries
• Jump starter is only allowed to be used by adults and people familair with jump starting procedure.
Security and maintenance
1) Do not short-circuit the Wallaby
2) Keep away from high temperatures, do not dispose to fire, water or other liquids. Do not expose the Wallaby
to direct sunlight.
3) Keep away from high humidity and dust. Do not charge below 5 degree Celsius. The Wallaby has built in
safety and will stop charging when temperature will be below 5 degrees Celsius.
If temperature reaches below - 20 degrees Celsius, system will stop the AC and DC output function and will
switch off automatically
4) Do not disassemble or reassemble the Wallaby.
5) Do not drop, place heavy objects on the product, or allow strong impact.
6) This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
7) Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
8) Do not cover the device with towels, clothing or any other item.
9) Do not charge the unit over the required time.
fig. 5
10) Disconnect the unit when fully charged.
11) Use the unit properly to avoid electronic shock.
12) This appliance is equipped with a high quality Lithium-Ion Battery. Although this kind of battery has very low
memory effect, we advise to charge the appliance every 3 months to ensure the lifetime of the battery.
If you store the Wallaby for a long time, please be sure to charge the battery full.
13) Store the Wallaby in a place with a temperature between 10 - 30 degrees Celsius.
14) When charging keep away from TV, radio, communication equipment to avoid interference.
15) Some portable devices may need to be set in charge mode to charge. Please refer to the corresponding
manual of the devices for more information.
16) The Wallaby has an internal, non-removable, rechargeable battery. Do not attempt to remove the battery,
as you may damage the device or you can be injured by electrical shock.
17) The battery can be charged and discharged fully over 500 times, but it will eventually wear out.
18) When battery capacity is less then 10%, recharge immediately. When not recharged within a few weeks,
the battery can be damaged and cannot be recovered/recharged anymore.
19) Always switch off the Wallaby when not in use.
20) If you connect AC appliances which drain a high power (i.e. a refridgerator), the battery can drop very quickly
and the battery may not provide the full 400Wh.
21) When using the Wallaby, the outer shell can become a little bit warm. This is completely normal.
