■ Remote control
Problem
The remote control
does not work nor
function properly.

Cause
Wrong distance or angle.
Direct sunlight or lighting (from an
inverter type of fluorescent lamp, etc.) is
striking the remote control sensor of this
unit.
The batteries are weak.
Even if the remote control code is
correctly set, there are some models that
do not respond to the remote control.
You did not press the input selection key
corresponding to the component you are
trying to control.
Remedy
The remote control will function within a maximum
range of 6 m (20 ft) and no more than 30 degrees off-
axis from the front panel.
Reposition this unit.
Replace all batteries.
Use the supplied remote control for the components.
Press the input selection key corresponding to the
component you are trying to control, and then press
the desired remote control key(s).
