This product is a rugged, reliable device which was built using state-
of-the-art technology.
Approval notice
In accordance with European CEPT Agreements for 40 FM chan-
nels, your CV 40 Plus Walkie-Talkie does not need to be registered
and there are no call charges. Its design meets the requirements of
electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) legislation and the EC Directive
provided it is used as prescribed as a walkie-talkie in accordance
with the details in these Operating Instructions. You can use the CV
40 Plus when travelling in most European countries without any
problem. More and more countries are signing up to the European
Reciprocal Trade Agreement. In the event of doubt users are
advised to find out about locally applicable regulations before they
begin their journey from a competent body such as motoring organ-
isations, CB clubs or consulates. The CV 40 Plus conforms with
European standard ETS 300 135, has obtained EU approval (as also
recognised in Germany - CEPT PR 27 L) and meets the require-
ments of EC Directive 89/336/EEC as well as those of the EMC leg-
islation of 9th November 1992. It also bears the CE mark.
The device has obtained a certificate of conformity and the manu-
facturer has submitted the appropriate declarations and docu-
ments.
