Torch operation

The DMM features an LED torch that can also be used when the
DMM is switched off.
Press the light button (2) to switch it on. The lamp only lights up if
the button is pressed down in order to save battery power.

Maintenance and cleaning

General information

To ensure the accuracy of the multimeter over a longer period of
time, it should be calibrated once a year.
The battery change is described below.
Periodically check the technical safety of the instrument
and the measuring leads, e.g. check for damage to the
housing or pinched sections etc.

Cleaning

Always observe the following safety instructions before cleaning the
device:
Live components may be exposed if covers are opened
or parts are removed (unless this can be done without
tools).
Before cleaning or carrying out maintenance work all
leads must be disconnected from the objects to be
measured.
