Putting into operation:
• Before putting the cable hoist into operation, read the operating hstructions carefully.
• Observe all safety and operating information.
• Only correct handling and maintenance will ensure that the appliance gives long and
reliable
service.
• Use only original spare parts for repairs.
• DOnot alter the appliance in any way, as this may invalidate the guarantee, impair safety
and cause serious accidents.

Assembly Of the hoist at the site:
• Attach the frame (a) to the suspension device with the 4 rollers and towing
rope (b) (Fig. l).
• Connect the terminal (c) to the load to be hoisted with the 3 rollers and the knotted
end Of the rope (d) (Fig, 1).
CAUTION! A special, self-securing knot is made in the knotted end Of the
rope (d). Only a specialist may undo and remake this knot (Fig. 2). Danger Of
injury to individuals and Of property damage by improper knotting!
Safety and operating information:
• Do not use to hoist hazardous goods, people or animals.
• Donot useas a plaything(e.g.as a swing).
• Hoisting loads exceeding the maximum load capacity can result in material darnage and
personal injury.
• The suspension for thehoistinggearmustbe ableto beara loadhigherthan the
maximum loadbearing capacity of the hoisting gear.
Do not use more than one set of hoisting gear to hoist a load.
•
Sling the cable around the load so that it cannot slip or work loose.
•
Donotenterthe dangerzonewhilethe hoistinggearis underload.
•
Never walk or stand under the load while it is beng hoisted.
•
Makesurethat you lowerand placethe loadon a firm.level s urface.
•
Do not allow the cable to run out completely.
•
Never pull loads and cables over sharp edges and corners, as this may cause the cable
•
to break.
Protect the hoisting gear from dirt and weather.
•
Maintain the hoisting gear regulary; keep cable and pulleys clean; oil the pulley axles.
•
Check the cable and all parts of the hoisting gear for damage regularly and always before
•
• Replace darnaged or worn cable hoist immediately.
Never r epair o r maintain thehoisting gearwhileit {sloaded.
• Always wear a safety helmet, safety goggles and work gloves when working with the
cable hoist.
