LASER SAFETY SUMMARY
LASER SAFETY
CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT (The same in Swedish.)
Hewlett-Packard 300mx, 600mx and 700mx jukeboxes are for user safe
class 1 laser products. In normal use the enclosure of the optical drives
prevents the laser beam from escaping outside of the product.
The jukebox was type approved in Finland for laser safety by the
National Board of Labour Protection. The safety class of the products
was defined according to the resolution No 472/1985 of the Council of
State and the standard EN 60825.
WARNING !
The use of the product otherwise than specified in the user's manual may
expose the user to laser radiation exceeding safety class 1.

SERVICE
There are no user serviceable parts inside the jukebox. The jukebox
products can be serviced only by qualified service personnel. The optical
drive mechanism(s) installed inside the library system shall not be
opened or disassembled during service.
