USING THE SAFETY PIN
After use or when moving the device, place the Divide-O-Matic® in the safety position.
1. Place the level in the lowest position.
2. Insert the safety pin through the two supports. This prevents the blade from being
unintentionally raised.
3. When using the Divide-O-Matic®, insert the pin into the block.

USING THE STRAIGHT KNIFE
1. First cut the flat, round cheese wheel
in half using the Cheese-O-Matic® or a
Dutch cheese knife.
2. Attach the Straight Knife to the Divi-
de-O-Matic®.
3. Lift the lever and place the half cheese
wheel with the rounded side against both
positioning pins. Determine the thickness
of the wedge to be cut. Make sure to keep
your hand away from the cutting side of
the blade!
4. Lower the lever so that the knife cuts
through the cheese.
5. Remove the cut wedge, lift the level and
move the cheese into the right position to
cut the next wedge, etc.
6. After use, leave the level in the lowest
position, with the blade resting against
the base. Use the safety pin to prevent
inappropriate use.
