USE
1、Put on your Safety harness, and properly adjust according to the instructions
included with the harness.
2、You must remain connected to the SafeLink at all times while you ascend and
descend - and during the entire time, you are off the ground. Once you are in the
tree stand, place the looped end of the SafeLink around the tree, and pull the
entire rope through the loop.
3、Let the end of the rope fall to the ground, leaving the prussic knot and carabiner
near the loop. Attach the carabiner to the tether on your safety harness. Tighten
the lock nut on the carabiner. You are now ready to descend to the ground. Climb
down the tree, sliding the prussic knot down with you as you descend the tree.
4、When you are on the ground, you can disconnect from the SafeLink rope by
unscrewing the lock nut on the carabiner,and disconnecting from the tether point
on your safety harness. Tie off the end of the SafeLink near the base of the tree.
When tied off, the rope should be somewhat taut.(You don't want a lot of slack in
the rope when tied off).
Once you are at your tree stand, and are no longer climbing, slide the prussic knot
overhead where you have no slack in the rope when you are seated in the stand.
5 、 This SafeLink can be left in your tree stand location for up to 2 weeks. It is
critical that you inspect the lifeline for any damage or wear before you use
it-EVERY TIME. Do not leave the lifeline in service from year to year as it will
shorten the life of the product and it will be prone to damage from wildlife, UV rays,
and the elements. This potential damage can cause serious injury or death.
Inspection before every use is critical to your safety.
6、Do not use this product for anything other than its intended use. Using this rope
for towing, or pulling can reduce its effectiveness and cause injury or death to the
user. This product must be replaced every two years (from the date of manufacture
or purchase). Please retain your register receipt to establish proof of purchase and
date purchased
7、Should you experience a fall, DO NOT GRAB THE PRUSIK KNOT! WARNING!
Grabbing the Prusik Knot during a fall can cause the user to fall to the ground,
causing serious injury or death. Let the Prussic knot arrest your fall.
8、In the event that you should fall, it is important that you stay calm. Do not panic.
If your steps or ladder are still in place, use them to climb down from your stand. In
the absence of steps or a ladder, use your suspension relief strap to relieve the
pressure on your legs in the event you have fallen.
