• Do not cover the safety grill with the
objects like newspapers, table covers
or curtains. Do not hang any objects on
the safety grill and do not fix any objects
on it.
• Switch off the fan and pull out the
power plug when you are not using it,
when malfunction occurs or when an
object penetrates through the safety
grill.
• Use the fan only at the places, where
the surrounding temperature does not
exceed 40 °C. Do not expose the fan
to extreme temperatures. Avoid direct
solar radiation und heat.
• Do not let the power cable touch the
hot parts.
• Never expose the fan to the effect of
the weather (Rain etc.).
• Do not operate the fan if the fan or
power cable have visible damages.
• Do not use the fan any more if the
plastic components have gaps or cracks
or are deformed.
• Replace the damaged parts only with
the suitable original spare parts. In this
case, contact at the service-address
mentioned in the operating manual. In
case of use of the external accessories
and the appliance damages arising due
to that, any guarantee claim expires. In
case of accidents or damages, which
occur due to external accessories, no
liability is applica
ble.

Packaging material is not a toy. Children
are not allowed to play with the plastic
bags. There is a choking hazard.
1. Remove all parts from the package
and remove complete packaging ma-
terial. Remove also the transportation
safety devices, which may be there.
2. Check the scope of delivery
completely.
3. Check if the individual parts are free
of damage. If there are damages, do not
use the fan.
If the parts are faulty or damaged,
please contact at the service address
specified in this operating manual.
NOTE!
ODOUR DEVELOPMENT!
While operating the fan for the first
time, possibly a slight odour can
develop. This is harmless and not due
to malfunctioning of the appliance.
However, take care that there is ade-
quate ventilation; this can be done by
opening a window.

While adjusting the height, hold the
motor unit firmly with one hand if it
is not located in the lowest possible
position.
10. Cleaning
