b) Replace worn or damaged parts
in the interest of safety.
c) When replacing cutting tools,
make sure that only those of the
correct type are used.
d) Ensure that the batteries are
charged with the correct charger
recommended by the manufac-
turer. Incorrect use may result in
electric shock, overheating or
leakage of corrosive liquids from
the battery.
e) If electrolyte leaks, flush with
water/neutralizer and if in con-
tact with eyes, etc., consult a
doctor.
f) Maintenance of the machine
should be carried out in accord-
ance with the manufacturer's
directions.
g) Be aware that when using
machines with several cutting
blades, moving one cutting
blade can lead to the other
blades rotating.
h) When adjusting the machine,
make sure your fingers do not
become caught between mov-
ing cutting blades and fixed
parts of the machine.
i) Before you shut down the ma-
chine, let the motor cool down.
j) During maintenance work on
the cutting blades, pay attention
that the cutting blades can be
moved even when the power
supply is switched off.
k) Replace worn or damaged parts
in the interests of safety. Use
only original spare parts and
accessories.
Observe the safety informa-
tion and notes on charging
and proper use as shown in the in-
struction manual for your battery
and charger from the (Parkside)
X 20 V Team series. A detailed de-
scription of the charging process
and further information can be
found in the separate operating in-
structions.
Do not expose the battery to
extreme conditions such as
heat and shocks. There is a risk of
injury caused by leaking electrolyte
solution! In case of contact with
eyes or skin, rinse the affected sites
with water or a neutralizer and
seek medical attention.
Do not use any non-recharge-
able batteries.
Place the battery in the device
as described in the chapter
"Inserting/removing the battery"
so that you do not install it with in-
correct polarity.
