Information
Children and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities or lack of experience and
knowledge or persons unfamiliar
with the instructions for operating the
machine must not use the machine.
Children must not be near the ma-
chine when it is being used.
Children must never play with the
device.
Cleaning and user maintenance
must not be carried out by children.
The device must not be used at alti-
tudes over 2000 m.

Instructions for safe use
Training
a) Read the operating instructions
carefully. Familiarise yourself
with the controls and how to use
the machine correctly.
b) Never allow children or people
who are not familiar with the
instructions to use the machine.
Local regulations may specify the
minimum age of the user.
c) The operator or user is responsi-
ble for accidents or hazards to
other persons or their property.
d) Never mow if there are people,
particularly children or animals,
nearby.

Preparatory measures

a) Inspect the area where the
machine is to be operated at
regular intervals and remove
all stones, branches and twigs,
wires, bones and other foreign
bodies.
b) Perform a visual inspection of
the machine at regular intervals
to ensure that the blade is nei-
ther worn nor damaged.
Damaged or worn cutting
blades and fastening bolts must
only be replaced as a set to pre-
vent imbalance. Worn or dam-
aged information signs must be
replaced.
c) Always wear sturdy shoes and
long trousers when operating
the machine. Do not operate
the machine barefoot or in light
sandals. Avoid wearing loose
clothing with hanging laces or
belts.
Operation
General information
a) Keep hands or feet away from
rotating parts.
b) Never lift or transport the ma-
chine when the motor is running.
c) Remove the battery from the de-
vice:
- whenever you leave the lawn
mower;
- before you release blockages;
- before carrying out checks
and cleaning or other work on
the machine.
- if a foreign object has been hit
by the device. Check for dam-
age to the lawn mower and
carry out the necessary repairs
