• Put the command lever in position 1 (Transport).
• Verify that the tiller is in the vertical position.
• Loosen the locknut and slowly turn the adjuster screw clockwise until the forks begin to descend.
• As the forks start to descend, turn the screw anti-clockwise for one and a half turn then tighten the locknut.
• Verify that, with the command lever in position 1 (Transport), the forks do not move, lift or lower regardless
of the tiller's position.
• Verify that, with the command lever in position 3 (Lowering), the forks lower with any position of the tiller.
WARNING: do not use the pallet truck unless all the operations and checks described above have been
completed.

MAINTENANCE
4.1
OIL
Check the oil level every six months. The total oil capacity is around 260 ml, inject 50-100 ml of oil while the
forks are in the lowered position.
Add or change the hydraulic oil according to the table below.

HOW TO EXPEL AIR FROM THE PUMP UNIT
Air may enter the unit when the seals are replaced. Lift the control lever (Fig. 1) to the LOWER position
then move the handle up and down several times.
4.3
DAILY CHECKS AND MAINTENANCE
Inspecting the pallet truck on a daily basis can limit wear and tear of the unit. Pay special attention to the
wheels, axles, handle, forks and the lifting and lowering control.
4.4
LUBRICATION
Use motor oil or grease to lubricate all moveable parts.
5.
GUIDE TO SAFE OPERATION
To operate the pallet truck safely, please read all warning signs and instructions given here and attached to
the truck before using it.
5.1
Do not operate the pallet truck unless you are familiar with it and have been trained or authorised to
do so.
5.2
Do not operate the truck unless you have checked its condition. Pay special attention to the wheels,
handle assembly, forks, and the lifting and the lowering control.
5.3
Do not use the pallet truck on sloping ground.
5.4
Never place any part of your body in the lifting mechanism or under the forks or load. Do not carry
passengers.
5.5
The operator should wear gloves and safety shoes for protection.
5.6
Do not handle unstable or loosely stacked loads.
5.7
Do not overload the pallet truck.
5.8
Make sure that the load is not unbalanced, either to the side or along the length of the frame (refer to
Fig. 2/B).
5.9
The load will be evenly distributed when its centre lies on the halfway point of the forks lengthwise
