Pinnacle PCTV USB Stick
Lieferumfang*
Im Lieferumfang befinden sich die im Folgenden aufgeführten
Komponenten. Die Abbildungen dazu sehen Sie auf der linken
Seite (Abbildungen sind Beispiele).
1. USB 2.0 TV-Tuner für den Empfang von digitalem
terrestrischem Fernsehen (DVB-T)
2. Passive Mini-Stabantenne mit Magnetfuß
3. Mini-Fernbedienung inklusive Batterien

Bedienungsanleitung

Hinweis: Je nach Auslieferungsvariante kann der Lieferumfang

Installation
1. Verbinden Sie die mitgelieferte Stabantenne oder Ihre
Hausantenne mit dem Antenneneingang des PCTV USB Stick.
2. Schließen Sie den PCTV USB Stick an einen USB 2.0-Port
Ihres PCs an.
3. Legen Sie die Installations-CD-ROM in das entsprechende
Laufwerk Ihres PCs ein. Die Installation startet automatisch;
bitte folgen Sie im weiteren Verlauf den Hinweisen des Setup-
Programmes.
Hinweis: Wenn Sie die mitgelieferte Stabantenne verwenden,
positionieren Sie diese bitte möglichst hoch und möglichst nah am
Fenster.
Um mögliche Schäden durch das magnetische Feld des
Antennenfußes zu vermeiden, achten Sie bitte auf ausreichenden
Abstand zu Festplatten und sonstigen magnetisch empfindlichen
Komponenten.
Der Empfang von DVB-T hängt vom Standort ab und kann durch
dicke oder stahlverstärkte Wände sowie Nachbargebäude
beeinträchtigt sein. In solchen Umgebungen ist eine Außen-
/Dachantenne erforderlich. Mobiler Empfang von DVB-T, z.B. im
Auto oder Zug, ist im Allgemeinen nicht möglich.

Scope of Supply*
The scope of supply includes the following components. The

Installation
1. Plug the rod antenna (from this shipment) or your house
antenna into the antenna port of the PCTV USB Stick.
2. Plug the PCTV USB Stick into one of your PC USB 2.0 ports.
3. Insert the installation CD-ROM into the appropriate CD drive in
your PC. The installation will begin automatically; please follow
the instructions on further actions provided in the setup
program.
Note: If you use the supplied rod antenna, position it as high and
as close to a window as possible.
To avoid possible damages from the magnetic field surrounding the
antenna feet, maintain a sufficient distance from the hard drive and
other components that are sensitive to the magnetic forces.
Reception of DVB-T is dependant on location and can be impaired
by steel-reinforced walls as well as high neighboring buildings. In
this type of environment an external/roof antenna is required.
Mobile reception of DVB-T, e.g. in a car or train, is generally not
possible. In Great Britain, in most cases indoor reception with the
provided rod antenna will not be possible. Please connect PCTV
USB Stick to your rooftop aerial using a double shielded antenna
cable in order to get the best possible signal quality.

Installation
1. Reliez l'antenne tige fournie ou votre antenne domestique à
l'entrée antenne du stick USB PCTV.
2. Reliez alors le stick USB PCTV à un port USB 2.0 de votre
ordinateur.
3. Insérez le CD-ROM d'installation dans le lecteur correspondant
de votre ordinateur. L'installation démarre automatiquement ;
veuillez suivre alors les indications du programme d'installation.
Remarque : si vous utilisez l'antenne tige fournie, placez-la le plus
haut et le plus près possible de la fenêtre.
Pour éviter tout dommage dû au champ magnétique du pied de
l'antenne, veillez à le placer à une distance suffisante de tout
disque dur ou autre composant sensible sur le plan magnétique.
La réception de la télévision numérique terrestre dépend du lieu et
peut être compromise par des murs épais ou blindés, ainsi que par
les bâtiments voisins. Dans de tels cas, il est nécessaire d'avoir
recours à une antenne extérieure/sur le toit. Une réception mobile
de la télévision numérique terrestre, par exemple en voiture ou en
train, n'est généralement pas possible.
