Instructions d´utilisation et d´installation
NOTE: The filling process is easier if you attach a sloping chute to the upper formwork as a filling opening or
slightly enlarge or slant the wall opening in this area towards the top. It may also make sense to place the top
formwork only after the concrete has been poured.
-
Carefully fill in the concrete layer by layer into the cavities around the safe. Whilst doing so, compact the
concrete to ensure that no bubbles or cavities are created. Light hammer blows with a rubber mallet on the
formwork boards or poking and prodding with a stick will help. Make sure that the concrete has also spread
under the safe.
-
When filling with concrete, the safe door should remain closed and only be opened again after at least 48 hours
(concrete curing time).
3.5 Finishing
At the earliest 48 hours after the wall safe has been installed, the formwork can be removed and the safe door opened.
Wipe up any moisture inside the safe and allow the safe to dry out.
After the concrete has hardened, you can level out small holes or unevenness with plaster or filler. Prepare visible
concrete on the front for painting over or wallpapering.
4. Limitation of liability / Expiry of certification
Consequential damage following attempted break-ins, fires and improper tampering with the structure and function of the
safe will invalidate the certification and warranty. We shall not be liable for malfunctions caused by the use of force or
improper handling, and not for property damage or financial losses which are attributable, for example, to the improper
locking of the safe. In case of malfunctions, repairs may only be carried out by companies authorised by the
manufacturer.
There is a white security seal on the door panel of each safe door when delivered. When dismantling the door trim
(repair, maintenance, etc.), the seal must be removed; it will be destroyed in the process. When fitting the door trim, a
new seal must then be affixed. Please make the gluing area absolutely grease-free before gluing.
Only companies authorised by the manufacturer (service technicians) receive these seals. If the seal has been destroyed,
it indicates that the door panel has not been opened properly, which may invalidate the certification.
5. Maintenance and service
The wall safe and the lock are maintenance-free.
If faults occur that you cannot correct yourself or if you have any further questions, please contact your safe dealer or the
