SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best
results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this appliance
to someone else make sure to also include this manual.
In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The
manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use
or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
2.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
3.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
4.
Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Children shall not play with the appliance.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Regarding the instructions for cleaning the surfaces which come in contact with food, please refer to the
paragraph "CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE" of the manual.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in
shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other
residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.

10. The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.
11. Read all instructions carefully.
12. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles.
13. To prevent electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plug or heating plate in liquid or water.
14. Adult supervision is necessary when operating any appliance near children.
15. Unplug appliance from the wall outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool
completely before adding or removing the pot.
16. Never put water or any liquid into the outer pot.
17. Any use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause hazards.
18. Do not use outdoors.
19. Do not let cord dangle or hang over the edge of table or counter tops, or allow it to touch hot surfaces.
20. Do not place appliance on or near gas or electric burners, on a stovetop or in an oven.
21. Use extreme caution when moving or handling appliances containing hot oil or other liquids.
22. Do not use this appliance for any other purpose but its intended use.
23. Always unplug after use. Your cooker's power will remain on unless unplugged.
24. The machine should not be operated by means of an external timer-switch or by means of a separate system
with remote control.
25. Use the appliance on a flat, dry and heat resistance surface.
26. The slow cooker works by building up heat and maintaining an even temperature. To get the best cooking
results, do not remove the lid during cooking, since this will lose heat and therefore slow down the cooking
time. The glass lid allows you to monitor the cooking progress without interrupting the cooking time.
27. Do not use the slow cooker to reheat food.
28. Do not put the inner bowl or glass lid in an oven, freezer, and microwave oven or on a gas/electrical hob.
