c) Read / Scan Image (Function "Capture")

• In the main menu, select the function "Capture" with the arrows and confirm your selection
with "ENTER".
The preview of the inserted slide or negative appears ("Live-View").
• Use the button "" to mirror-invert the image horizontally (left/right) if it is displayed
incorrectly. When scanning, slides or negatives, ensure that they are inserted into the holder
correctly. The materials thickness of slides or negatives may reduce the scan quality if they
are inserted incorrectly in the holder.
Use the button "" to mirror-invert the image vertically (top/bottom).
• To set brightness, press "ENTER" and select brightness with the arrow buttons. Press
"ENTER" again to return to the preview image.
• Press the "SCAN" button to scan the slide or negative. It will take about 1-2 seconds before
the next menu is shown.
Use the arrow buttons to switch between the 3 different functions of the menu:
"Save"
"Cancel" = Cancel, return to preview ("Live-View")
"Home"
• If the internal memory or the memory card is full, so that data can no longer be stored, the
following display appears.
In this case, connect the film scanner to a computer via USB and move the images into a
directory on your computer's hard disk or insert a new, empty storage card.
