Engraving

This function makes it possible to engrave a text on the key head.
Warning: Important!
It is not possible to engrave the head of keys/plates
painted or made of non-conductive material.
How to proceed:
• From the key search sub-menu, select "

Options displayed:
1. Makes it possible to type in the text to be engraved on the
key head, thanks to a keyboard that is displayed when
one clicks on the text field.
2. With this key it is possible to add a new element: TEXT,
CODE or INCREASE.
a. TEXT: makes it possible to input a new text field.
Select the newly created field and press (1) to
edit it.
b. CODE: makes it possible to engrave the key code
with one of the following procedures:

MODIFY AND CUT
- Type the desired code in the "CODES" page (see
paragraph 7.2.0 on page 16) and the press "
go to the "DIRECT" code input screen (see para-
graph 7.3.0)
- Click on the "Code" field (B)
c. INCREASE: makes it possible to add the incre-
mental number. Zone (1) includes the text fields
and makes it possible to input the initial value
and the increase, and the writing mode of the in-
cremental number.

graved together or separate them, to be able to move
them more easily.

8. These two buttons move the text to be engraved to the
left or right, in order to centre it correctly on the key head.
9. Similarly, these buttons move the text position upwards

11. These two buttons increase or decrease the size of the in-
put letters.
