Operation, Setting and Use

4.8 The BBQ function (grilling function of the flex zone)

On the flex zone, the BBQ function keeps the temperature
of your cookware at a sufficiently high level to prepare
grilled dishes.
It is particularly suitable in combination with a commercially
available, induction-compatible barbecue plate for grilling
meat and vegetables evenly,
or for searing or grilling in a pot or in the pan.
To use the function, proceed as follows:
Activating the BBQ function
• Make sure that the desired flex zone is activated.
• Touch any of the keys of one of the desired cooking zones
to select it.
• While the cooking zone display is flashing,
touch the relative flex zone / BBQ key
for approx. 3 seconds.
• The power of the selected flex zone is then optimised
for the preparation of grilled dishes.
The cooking zone display of cooking zone 1 or 3 shows
the cooking zone display of cooking zone 2 or 4 shows .
Deactivating the BBQ function
• To stop the BBQ function, touch any of the keys of one of
the desired cooking zones to select it.
• While the cooking zone display is flashing,
touch the relative flex zone /BBQ key
• The corresponding power display changes to
