Mounting/pivoting the
additional handle
Do not use the device with-
out the additional handle. It
provides additional hold and
reduces the risk of injury.
1. Rotate the grip of the auxiliary
handle (5) counterclockwise to
loosen the loop.
2. Insert the additional handle (5)
over the keyless chuck (4) on to
the device.
3. Pivot the additional handle (5)
into the desired position (see
smaller image).
4. Tighten the grip of the auxiliary
handle (5) again.
The additional handle is equally suit-
ed for right and left-handed person.

Mount/set depth stop

The boreholes can be precisely drilled to an
exact drilling depth x using the depth stop.
1. Slide the slide (3) on the auxiliary
handle (5) in the direction of the
arrow and hold it down.
2. Use the depth stop (2) in the ad-
ditional handle (5). Make sure
that the flute of the depth stop (2)
engages the flute of the additio-
nal handle (5).
3. Place the tip of the depth stop (2)
to the desired drilling depth x
behind the tip of the drill.
4. Release the slider (3). The depth
stop (2) is now locked.
5. Drill the hole until the depth stop
(2) comes in contact with the
component part.

Inserting/replacing the tool

1. Open the keyless chuck (4) wide
(RELEASE) so that the tool can
be inserted. To do so, firmly hold
the rear sleeve (4a) of the keyless
chuck (4) and turn the front sleeve
(4b) in the anti-clockwise direc-
tion.
2. Insert the tool as far as possible
into the keyless chuck (4).
3. Close the keyless chuck (4) (GRIP)
in order to clamp the tool. To do
so, firmly hold the rear sleeve
(4a) of the keyless chuck (4) and
turn the front sleeve (4b) in the
clockwise direction.
4. To remove the tool again, rotate
the keyless chuck (4) and pull out
the tool.
Always use a universal bit holder
use using a screwdriver bits.

Operation

Observe noise control and local
regulations.

Switching on and off

1. Connect the machine to the pow-
er supply.
Make sure that the net voltage
matches the voltage rating indi-
cated on the device's type plate.
2. Switching on: Press the on/off
switch (7).
