MAINTENANCE

On the device are only few of them serviceable components. It is not necessary to dis-
mantle the machine. Repairs can only be carried out by an expert!
Accessories: Use only recommended accessories HOLZMANN!
If you have any questions or problems, contact our customer service.
Make sure that your machine is always maintained according to the following schedule to extend
the life of the machine.
a) Maintenance before ervery start
1) Lubricate the grease fittings after each use
2) If the machine more than usual heat, or operating noises are louder, turn off the machine
and analyze the possible error.
3) Remove the vise, tools, etc. for the work of the machine and clean it. Oil a cause rust the
metal surfaces with a thin layer of fat.
b) Weekly maintenace
Verify that sufficient lubricant is present on all sliding surfaces. If no lubricant film should be
available Lubricate the surfaces sufficiently.
c) Monthly maintenance
1) Lubricate all sliding surfaces
2) Lubricate all bearings, gears and racks
d) Annual maintenance
1) Check the parallelism of the cross table.
2) Check., The power cables and connectors for damage
3) Replace the lubricant in the head a year.
a. Place a container under the head.
b. Loosen the oil drain plug from the head.
c. Turn the plug out and let the oil flow into the container
d. Close the outlet back to the oil drain plug.
e. Open the oil fill cover and a new lubricant to the mark.
f. Close the back cover oil
