2. Intended use

The "Babyphone 40MHz" serves to monitor the sounds in a children's room, for instance.
The microphone built into the transmitter receives the sounds of your baby, for instance, and
transfers them via radio to the receiver which plays the sounds back via an integrated speaker.
Furthermore, LEDs are integrated in the receiver which siganlise the sounds by lighting up (for
instance if you have turned the sounds of the receiver right down).
The power supply of the transmitter and receiver can either be provided by battery or via the
two mains adapters (230V~/50Hz) supplied.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the
risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
No part of the product should be modified or reassembled. The product is only to be used in
dry indoor locations.
