Inhaltsverzeichnis
22. Glue the upper tyre sections 35 to the rear wheels attached to the bodywork sub-floor, followed by the
outside rear tyre sections 36.
23. Fit the inside sections of the front tyres 37 over the transverse arms and glue them in place. Fit the front
wheel "rims" 34, the upper tyre sections 35 and the front outside tyre sections 38 and glue them in place,
as described for the rear tyres.
24. Glue the wheel supports 39 to the inner tyre sections and the transverse arm reinforcements, followed by
the bottom tyre sections 40.
25. Glue the other wheel supports to the inner tyre sections and the transverse arm reinforcements.
26. Cut the wheel axles 41 to the stated length. Fit the wheel 42 between the two wheel supports, slip the
wheel axle through the assembly and apply a drop of cyano on the outside to hold the parts together.
27. Cut the rear spoiler reinforcements 44 to the stated length, and glue them to the rear spoiler top section
43 and the rear spoiler bottom section using UHU por. Insert the spoilers in the appropriate slots and glue
them in place. Cut the vertical fin reinforcements 46 to the stated length and glue them to the trailing
edge of the fins.
28. Cut short pieces from the roll of glass-reinforced adhesive tape 47 (Order No. 98709), and apply them to
the two sub-floor control surfaces 13 and 14. Apply one piece directly over the hole for the horn, then cut
the hole free again. You can now attach the control surfaces to the sub-floor using the tape as a hinge.
Apply another piece of adhesive tape from the other side, adjacent to the hole for the horn, in order to
provide a defined pivot axis for the control surfaces.
29. The pushrods 49 can now be connected to the servo output arms, and the horns 48 fitted on the
pushrods. Check that the servo output arms are at the neutral position by connecting the receiving
system and switching on the transmitter with the trims at centre. Fit the output arms on the servos at
right-angles to the long case sides.
30. Fit the servo in the appropriate recess, and insert the horn 48 in the hole in the control surface. Glue both
items in place.
31. Attach the rudders as described for the sub-floor control surfaces.
32. Cut the rudder connecting rod 51 and the rear spoiler connecting rod 52 to length. Gently warm the
plastic clevises 50 using a heat gun or a match, and press them onto the rods to produce finished items
of the stated length.
33. The rear spoiler control surfaces 15 and 16 can now be attached to the rear spoiler using pieces of glass-
reinforced adhesive tape 47.
34. Fit the connecting horns 53 in the appropriate slots in the control surfaces, and glue them in place. Now
all you have to do is connect the prepared connecting rods to the connecting horns 53.
35. Glue the rear spoiler side panels 54 to the rear spoiler.
36. Attach the front spoiler control surface 19 to the front spoiler 11 using the glass-reinforced adhesive tape
47.
37. Glue the front spoiler horn 57 in the slot in the spoiler, and apply a strip of glass-reinforced tape 47 on the
opposite side to secure it.
38. The front spoiler side panels 55 can now be glued in place as shown.
39. Cut the front spoiler pushrod 56 to the length stated in the Parts List, and fit it through the pushrod guides
and into the fuselage.
40. Fit the plastic clevises on the front spoiler pushrod as described in point 32. Drill out the hole in the output
arm of the front spoiler servo using a 1.6 mm Ø bit.
41. Connect the clevises to the servo output arm and the front spoiler horn.
