Produkt- und Funktionsbeschreibung
Der RL 513D23 Schaltaktor (Relais) ist ein KNX Gerät mit drei
Schaltausgängen. Es wird in einem AP 118 Automationsmodul-
box oder in der AP 641 Raumautomationsbox installiert. Der
Busanschluss erfolgt über eine Busklemme, die Stromversor-
gung der Aktorelektronik über die Busspannung.
Der RL 513D23 kann ohmsche Lasten (z.B. Elektroheizung, Glüh-
lampen) oder induktive Lasten (z.B. Motor, Niedervolt-
Halogenlampen mit vorgeschaltetem gewickeltem Transforma-
tor) oder kapazitive Lasten (z.B. Niedervolt-Halogenlampen mit
vorgeschaltetem elektronischem Transformator) schalten.
Je nach Konfiguration stehen für den Aktorausgang jeweils die
Funktionen Schalten, Handübersteuerung, Zwangsführung, lo-
gische Verknüpfung und Statusabfrage zur Verfügung. Außer-
dem kann bei jedem Ausgang bei Bedarf über ein optionales Ob-
jekt „Nachtbetrieb" anstelle eines dauerhaften Einschaltens ein
zeitbegrenztes Einschalten (z.B. zur Putzbeleuchtung) aktiviert
werden, ggf. mit Warnen vor dem Ausschalten durch mehrfa-
ches Aus- und Wiedereinschalten des Ausgangs (Blinken).
Das Applikationsprogramm beinhaltet optional eine Schaltspiel-
und Betriebsstundenzählung mit Grenzwertüberwachung pro
Ausgang sowie eine integrierte 8 Bit Szenensteuerung, bei der
der Ausgang in bis zu 8 Szenen eingebunden werden kann.
Für jeden Ausgang des Aktors ist eine der nachfolgenden Be-
triebsarten einstellbar:
- Normalbetrieb
- Zeitschalterbetrieb
Verhalten bei Ausfall / Wiederkehr von Busspannung
Bei Busspannungsausfall wird der aktuelle Schaltstatus dauer-
haft gespeichert, damit sie bei Netzwiederkehr bzw. Busspan-
nungswiederkehr ggf. wiederherstellbar sind.
Bei Busspannungswiederkehr werden die parametrierten Aktio-
nen ausgeführt und ggf. neue Stati gemeldet.
Baustellenfunktion
Die Baustellenfunktion ermöglicht im Auslieferzustand das Ein-
und Ausschalten einer Baustellenbeleuchtung über einen Busta-
ster und einen Aktor, auch wenn diese Geräte noch nicht mit
der ETS in Betrieb genommen wurden.
Verhalten bei Entladen des Applikationsprogramms
AC 230V
Wird das Applikationsprogramm mit der ETS „entladen", hat das
Gerät keine Funktion mehr.
Rücksetzen des Gerätes in den Auslieferzustand
Wenn die Lerntaste länger als 20 Sekunden gedrückt wird, wird
das Gerät in den Auslieferzustand zurückgesetzt. Die Baustellen-
funktion des Auslieferzustands ist dann wieder aktiviert.
Das Gerät wird mit der Engineering Tool Software (ETS) ab Ver-
sion ETS3 v3.0f konfiguriert und in Betrieb genommen.

Product and Application Description
The RL 513D23 Switching actuator (relay) with mounting frame
is a KNX device with three switching outputs. The device is in-
stalled in an AP 118 Control Module Box or an AP 641 Room
Control Box. The bus is connected via a bus terminal block. The
actuator electronics are supplied via the bus voltage.
The RL 513D23 can switch resistive loads (e.g. electrical heaters,
incandescent lamps, high voltage halogen lamps), inductive
loads (e.g. motor, low voltage halogen lamps with intermediate
conventional transformers), or capacitive loads (e.g. low voltage
halogen lamps with intermediate electronic transformers).
The actuator output may be configured independently to pro-
vide switching, manual override, forced control, logical gate,
and status reporting. Furthermore, if required, time-limited
switching instead of permanent switching on can be enabled for
each channel via an optional "Night mode" object (e.g. for light-
ing while cleaning), if need be with a warning before switching
off by multiple switching the output on and off (flashing).
Amongst others, the application program includes optional a
switching cycle and operating hours count with threshold moni-
toring for each output and an integrated 8-bit scene control, in
which the output can be incorporated into up to 8 scenes.
Each output of the actuator may be set to one of the following
operating modes:
- Normal operation
- Timer operation
Behavior at bus voltage failure / recovery
On bus voltage failure the current switching status value is
saved for restoration on bus voltage recovery.
On bus voltage recovery the configured actions are executed
and, if applicable, new status values are reported.
Building site function
The building site function provided ex-factory enables switching
the building site lighting on and off via bus wall switches and
actuators, even if these devices have not yet been commis-
sioned with ETS.
Behavior on unloading the application program
When the application program is unloaded with ETS the device
does not function.
Resetting the device to ex-factory settings
When the programming button is pressed for more than 20 se-
conds the device is reset to the ex-factory settings. All configura-
tion settings are lost. The building site function is re-activated.
The device is configured and commissioned with the ETS (Engi-
neering Tool Software) version ETS3 v3.0f or later.
